Senior Meal Sites
Call for days, times, and reservations.
Meal sites served through Catholic Community Services (CCS) have an asterisk. All Pierce County meal sites are listed here for your convenience, however the September menu only covers CCS meal sites. CCS invites you to come in and join them for a hot nutritious lunch and spend a few hours volunteering too! There are 23 locations throughout Pierce County that would love you to volunteer providing services such as host, registrar, greeter, table setter, kitchen aide, server, and clean up. Hours are generally 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on any given Monday – Friday. Need training? They will take care of that too!
Although their meal cost is a suggested donation of $3.00 for seniors and $5.00 for non-seniors – volunteer for two (2) hours that day and get your meal in-kind (free)! You’ll need to fill our volunteer application and get the required Food Handler’s card (cost is $10 however; our volunteers get reimbursed) – but that’s it. Call (253) 474-1200 for more details.
