Senior Media Services produces the monthly newspaper, Senior Scene.  Senior Scene publishes information and news to help older adults lead healthy, active and productive lives. Regular features and topics include health and fitness, Senior Adventures, personal finance, People, food, Lifestyle, products and business, and community events.

Advertising includes housing directories and classified ads.

Each month, approximately 14,000 free copies of Senior Scene reach readers through more than 300 distribution sites in Pierce and King counties. The  sites include public libraries, senior centers, community centers, businesses, senior housing communities, government agencies, medical offices and facilities, and churches. Volunteers, most of them seniors themselves, deliver the paper to these locations once a month. The production of Senior Scene is truly a collaborative effort of individuals, advertisers and local agencies. 

Our readers have relied on Senior Scene as their source for news, information, products and services for over 30 years. Seniors, their families, friends and caregivers depend on the information provided in Senior Scene. Educators of senior support personnel use  the publication in their classrooms as reference material. Senior Media Services is an information network that provides the vital link to maintaining an informed senior community in Pierce County and King County.
