The Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver Conference, focusing on resources that are available for caregivers and their clients, will be held Oct. 3 in Tacoma.
From from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tacoma, participants will hear presentations on legal issues, paying for care, handling embarrassing behavior, and music therapy, among other topics. The keynote speaker will be David Troxel, who has written and taught in the fields of Alzheimer’s and long-term care.
Lunch will be provided during the conference. The church is at 1315 N. Stevens St.
