Comfort Keepers and Cascade Behavioral Hospital are teaming for a presentation on caring for dementia patients.
“Creating a Care Plan for a Loved One with Dementia” is the tile of the free event scheduled for Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at Des Moines Activity Center. The presenter will be David Wolfe, a geriatric mental health specialist for Cascade Behavioral Hospital. The program’s sponsors are the city of Des Moines and Comfort Keepers, a provider of in-home care for seniors and others needing assistance.
