Fall opening for 55-and-older apartments in Tacoma

A new, multi-story apartment complex for older adults is scheduled to open this fall in Tacoma.

Tahoma Place, owned by Korean Women’s Association, will be located at 1353 Tacoma Ave. S., near Interstate 705. Units will dedicated to homeless veterans, low-income seniors over 62, and adults 55 or older.

Amenities include a community room for activities, a fitness room, outdoor courtyards, and gardening beds on a sixth-floor deck. Additional information is available at kwacares.org and 253-535-4202
