To help voters in south and east King County make their choices in the general election this fall, AARP Washington will host candidate forums in September in Tukwila and Bellevue.
The forums will feature candidates for the Legislature and will have a particular focus on issues affecting older adults. Here’s the schedule:
- For south King County’s 11th, 30th, 33rd, 34th, 37th, and 47th legislative districts, Sept 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. at SHAG’s Tukwila Village, 14350 Tukwila International Blvd.
- For east King County’s 5th, 41st, 45th and 48th districts, Sept. 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at North Bellevue Community Center, 4063 148th Ave. NE.
