The Celebration of Military Service Parade is scheduled for Aug. 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Tacoma on Pacific Avenue, beginning at 13th Street and ending at 24th Street.  

The parade will feature active-duty, reserve and retired military personnel and numerous military vehicles, according to a spokesman for the Daffodil Festival, the event’s organizer.Approximately 20,000 spectators are expected.
