Partnership produces two more urgent-care centers

CHI Franciscan Health and CityMD have opened two new urgent-care centers in Puyallup and University Place, joining five other CityMD sites to the north in King County.

The new CityMD urgent care centers in Puyallup (12005 Meridian St. E.) and University Place (3556 Marketplace W., adjacent to Whole Foods Market) will be open seven days a week with emergency medicine doctors, X-ray technicians and medical assistants for care of illnesses and injuries such as sprains, minor fractures, allergies, urinary tract infections, asthma, and upper respiratory infections.

The other CityMD centers are in Kent, Federal Way, and Seattle’s Ravenna, Capitol Hill and West Seattle neighborhoods.

Officials for CityMD and CHI Franciscan said the partnership of the healthcare organizations is expanding “high-quality and convenient” urgent-care services regionally.
