SHAG (Senior Housing Assistance Group) has opened a new 308-apartment senior community in downtown Lynnwood.

Lynnwood City Center Senior Living. Located at 19501 40th Ave. W., has one and two-bedroom units to go along with indoor and outdoor common areas, a fitness center, a media room with a large-screen high-definition television, garden plots, and reserved garage parking.

SHAG operates 26 senior living communities in the Puget Sound region. In addition to Lynnwood, the locations range from Bellingham in the north to Olympia in the south. In King and Pierce counties, cities where they’re located include Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Puyallup, Tacoma, Lakewood and Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Tukwiila, Bothell, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood.
