Ships, springs and shows get you out and about

Are you anxiously waiting to hear all about the cruise to Belize, Honduras and Cozumel? Well, as I write this, I am packed and ready to go. You will just have to wait another month to hear all about it.

Here, it has been rain, rain, and more rain. There, we will have sun, sun, and more sun. That’s the neat things about traveling. You can choose your weather.

With weather choices in mind, and thinking forward to next winter, we have added yet another cruise to the schedule. This one is for Feb 7-14, 2015 on RCCL’s Oasis. We have done this previously and really didn’t want to get off the ship. Yes, she holds over 6,000 passengers, but when you are on board, it is hard to believe there are that many others along. There is so much to do with wave-riders, zip-lines, miniature golf, buffets, ice skating, cooking classes, lectures, rock climbing, cafes,  pools, spas, shows, eating, dancing, movies, sports and still more eating. The ship is a destination in and of itself, but it does travel out of Ft. Lauderdale to St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Nassau. So think back to February of this year and look ahead to a better one next year.

The Panama group on NCL out of Tampa to Vancouver is growing. That is 19 days starting April 19, 2015.  It sounds so far off, but space is filling up. Don’t be the last one to think about it and then find out there is no room. Roommates can be found if you are looking.

Around here, we are going to head north to Harrison Hot Springs in June for a two-night stay.  A nice drive up with a neat hotel and those wonderful hot pools. There are at least four of them with varying temperatures.  You might even want to take a little cruise out on the lake.

If you have not signed up for the senior discount tickets at the 5th Avenue Theater, we might still have some seats available. $200 will buy you prime orchestra seating for seven shows. We will even charter a bus (costs extra) to get you there and back without difficulty.

Get out. Enjoy the weather.  Make new friends.  Join us. For reservations or further information, call me at 253-927-8207 or get on the e-mail list at linda.finch@gmail.com
